How we verify events

1. Official source monitoring

Our team actively monitors announcements from Tangier’s premier venues and cultural institutes—including Cinémathèque de Tanger, Théâtre Riad Sultan, Institut Français, Instituto Cervantes, and municipal cultural centres.

2. Community and organizer submissions

Organisers and artists submit event details via our event submission platform. Each submission must include verifiable venue confirmation, official booking links, and contact information.

3. Editorial review and factual accuracy

Every candidate listing is manually reviewed before publication. We verify venue availability, dates, times, and entry prices in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD/DH). We never fabricate times or prices; if an organizer has not confirmed an hour, we state so clearly.

4. Multilingual curation

Approved events are catalogued and made accessible across four languages (English, French, Arabic, and Spanish) with localized calendar integration and Schema.org structured data.

5. Lifecycle and archival management

Pages for ongoing events update dynamically. When an event concludes, its page is marked with an "Ended" notice and retained for 12 months so visitors and search engines maintain historical context. After 12 months, retired pages return HTTP 410 Gone.
